Sporty Princess

by Nicole Nadeau

"When I think about how to dress Hannah, I normally go for sporty princess. The princess part looks pretty on her, and the sporty part is practical and allows her to be active. So in the photo shoot, she is wearing a pink tutu (crazy 8 brand), a pink sweater (carters), skinny jeans (carters), and sneakers (circo brand)."

Jay Henderson is an artist & curator in NYC.  Jay co-founded HKJB hkjb.org, which invites a cross-generational group of artists together into exhibitions where their larger contexts can be investigated.  HKJB  have many collective shows, and recently exhibited Genesis Forward Battery at Underdonk underdonk.com.  You can see more of Jay's incredible sculpture & photography work on his website jayhendersonart.com.  His sculpture is breathtaking to explore,  I want to buy them all.

Collage of Color

by Nicole Nadeau

Reed Uniqlo white shirt & jeans, Reed's own "Each is Inter-are" shirt // Horace Falmouth's English Fisherman Smock from Cornwall England, Tony Lama boots // Holiday Button up shirt with secret interior pocket designed by Horace (Holiday's older brother), La Miniatura jeans.

"I wear white in the studio as it is least distracting to my eye while working...but in general we are about colours and comfort, about layering favorite items, and patching them when they wear out.  There are a lot of hand-me-downs and hand-me-overs. My wife Gretchen will tell you not to let your nice things just sit in the closet waiting for the right time to wear them... Wear it now, until it wears out."

Reed is an artist in Brooklyn www.reedanderson.info. This past Fall Reed had an exhibition "OUR NEW LIFESTYLE", at Galeria Leyendecker, in Tenerife Canary Islands.  The works are an offshoot of PapaObject www.papaobject.com. Reed sent us a catalogue and the work is incredible. This Spring, Reed will have a solo exhibition at Pierogi Gallery, opening March 21st www.pierogi2000.com.  Go see his magical & dynamic work.
