Monsters, Surf hoodie, and a rescue dog

Kris is an artist living and working in NYC.  He is currently co-curating a show, for Storefront Ten Eyck with friend artist Vince Contarino called Spitball. The show is about how modes of comedy can be used as strategies for making art. They also started a project called Progress Report, dedicated to artist features & studio visits as a general curatorial resource for themselves and others: http://progress-report.org/index.  Kris is working on his second solo show with Jeff Bailey Gallery, scheduled for the fall. 

Surfing is a big part of his life outside of family and art. He contributes to a local surf blog called Aquatic Apes http://aquaticapes.blogspot.com/.
