Work It

by Nicole Nadeau

"Im inspired by old men who take pride in what they're wearing but at the same time they really don't care much about their outfit. Their style is effortless. I also could live like a mountain man and wear boots, a flannel with a long tee or tank layered under and raw jeans for weeks and not think twice about my look."

RAHEIM ROBINSON Public School (of course), Nike Flyknits and Jcrew // LANI "Crew Cuts for kids" (Jcrew), Converse.

Raheim Robinson is the Marketing Director for Public School and Black Apple, Owner of Conceptual Architects (A marketing and branding agency).  He just started a program called Define Your Craft, Its a non profit organization to help individuals gain exposure and insight into other industries due to the alarming amount of college students, post grads etc. who take jobs in the career fields based on their studies and realize 2 years in they want to be a designer, photographer etc. You can see Raheim with a Skateboard or BMX almost everyday.

Lani is a budding Photographer, Model, Actress, Swimmer and straight A student. Lani's blog is lanivision.tumblr.com

Double Mohawk

by Nicole Nadeau

"For me all black always works. When dressing up I always go with a clean white shirt with a dark tie, simple and classic. The longshirt is my current staple, I have a few in black and one white one, I like wearing them with a suit too. My wife has a background in design, so we go pick out fabric at Mood and she makes them for me. Winston has a nice "little" wardrobe. We really like Nununu baby clothes, they have a great fit. It's not easy to find good "black" baby clothes. We usually have luck at American Apparel Kids, we also like Zara Kids and Baby Gap. I have already started Winston's sneaker collection, ranging from Ralph Lauren Baby to Baby Converse. Winston is about six months old, and I am really enjoying this stage in his life."

SCOTT BRASHER A custom made longshirt made by his wife, Converse sneakers, Oliver Peoples sunglasses // WINSTON Baby GAP top, Zara kids drop crotch pants

Besides Scott's family, his main focus is on fashion photography and video projects. The majority of his current work is shooting streetstyle photography, love it! Keep an eye out, Scott shoots all over NYC.  Check out his instagram @scottbrasher

If A dad wears Vans, his kid wears Converse

by Nicole Nadeau

"My style is more simple, casual, and solid colors.  The solid colors are good for color blocking. Not interested in big name brands.  For my daughter we dress her in simple patterns, solid & bright colors, with metallic or fun shoes."

Blake Vans shoes, Levis, GAP jacket // Evie Converse, baby GAP leggings & jacket, Old Navy hat
